Mr. Vishwas Nangare Patil

Mr. Vishwas Nangare Patil

The guardian of Mumbai City from 26/11 Attacks and an IPS officer from the 1997 batch of the Maharashtra Cadre Mr. Vishwas Nangre Patil currently serves as the Additional Director General (ADG) of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His career includes significant service postings within Mumbai, such as DCP Zone-1 and Jt.CP (L & O), and outside Mumbai in places like Latur, Thane, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, and Nashik either as SP, as IGP or as CP. Notably, he was awarded the President’s Police Medal for Gallantry for his bravery during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service, the Director General’s Insignia, and the Mahatma Gandhi Peace Award from the Govt. of Maharashtra
