About Malhar
Malhar is the annual intercollegiate flagship festival of St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.
What is Malhar?
For over four decades, Malhar has brought together thousands of students from colleges across the country for exhilarating days of music, theatre, art, literature, dance, and fierce intellectual competition. It is one of India's most renowned student-run cultural festivals - a celebration of creativity, craft, and community.
Organised by over a thousand student volunteers from St. Xavier's College, Malhar transforms the historic campus into a melting pot of artistic expression and youth culture.
Iridescence
In a world that is constantly evolving, expression was never meant to exist in just one shade. Iridescence celebrates the fluidity of perspectives, emotions, and identities like light through a prism, unfolding into countless colours. This year, Malhar becomes a spectrum where every voice, story, and expression finds its place to shine.
